    This dvd set chronicals the fighting career of legendary mma super star; Bas “El Quapo” Rutten and delivers almost flawlessly in every department. A very nice feature for all three disc is the option to turn on commentary by none other than Rutten himself. Who, in classic El Quapo fashion goes over the tiny nuances,backstage stories,emotions and everything inbetween while talking over his fights. These become true eye openers to anyone who takes the time and hears Ruttens opions and thoughts on the fights and the back stories behind all of them.

    I won’t ruin the fun for anyone and go into the details but Ruttens commentary certaily gives this huge collection more value than you can possibly imagine.

    The only fight missing from this DVD set is the fight that happened at the fourth WFA event against mma veteran Ruben Villareal.Which happened after this set came out.

    The only other real drawback is that his UFC fights are shown in highlights rather than in their original presentation.

    However, that appears as a minor flaw that is severely out-outweighed by having virtually everyone of his Pancrase bouts in one volume.

    This is a must have for all fans of Rutten and should be essential viewing for all fans of mixed martial arts. Bas Rutten proves in this 3 DVD set that not only is he one of the baddest fighters to ever climb the ranks but that he was truly one of the first well rounded fighters to ever compete and this volume shows his evolution from a dutch kickboxer fighting in Japan to that of true mixed martial artist.

    Bottom line: Buy this!
