If you think you know MMA, try your skill at this excellent IQ book from Zac Robinson.
Note: Zac also co-authors Mixed Martial Arts: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports (Sports by the Numbers) (An outstanding sports by numbers book that I also recommend!)

Can you go all five rounds? Can you master 250- sometimes easy, sometimes tough and always poignant questions? Perhaps you will be the king of the bar stool, or like me, you may fall into the "new Champ" category. Are you up for the challenge? In any event, you WILL learn and be amazed at the crazy feats, numbers and facts contained in MMA IQ.
Robinson wrote MMA IQ in a fun, easy to read format and it is by an author who knows his stuff. (Zac is working with legendary cutman Jacob "Stitch" Duran on his biography).

Well, not as high as I thought. I love MMA, thought I knew everything about the UFC, and . . . apparently I was wrong. I’m not proud to admit it, but MMA IQ gave me a pretty good beatdown. I loved this book though — it isn’t your normal trivia book, it actually gives you a lot of the back story that makes the questions more intriguing, more personal, and more relevant. There is a logical progression through the book from easier questions up to the ones that knocked me out cold, and that’s good because it makes it appealing to fans / trivia buffs at any level. And besides, this is the first really good, comprehensive trivia book available on MMA, and trust me, this is a great book. If you like it, and I’m sure you will, the author has an earlier book out on MMA that is also outstanding: Mixed Martial Arts: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports (Sports by the Numbers).

Mixed Martial Arts IQ is a really fun and interesting book. Many of the questions aren’t too tough, but some are nearly impossible. The way the questions are written makes MMA IQ a good read for even the casual fans as each gives cool information. I learned a lot from this book and I can tell you I’m not the “Greatest of all time.” I really enjoyed the “Crazy Feats and Facts” category so if there is ever a volume two hopefully it will include more of these.

I want to say I’m a huge fan of MMA, but after reading MMA IQ, I really had to evaluate my knowledge and true fandom.

The book takes my knowledge and statistics in the MMA world to a whole new level. Great read of trivia, stats, and general MMA questions.
